I was in a car accident last night. Today I left early from work because I could no longer feel my legs nor could move my neck.

After spending s few hours in the ER and receiving purgaset, I called my pcp if there were any natural alternatives to the narcotics. He suggested a remedy that sprouts carried.

My fiancรฉ and I arrived at 10:01, as the manager was opening the door to let a customer out. I asked to get the remedy (for swelling and whiplash), and she refused my entry.

Over and over again. I even offered to give her cash so she could get me the medicine, and she refused.

The manager. Refused to allow me to get a pain supplement because, now, it was 10:02, and they close at 10 pm.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

We close at 10 pm we close the registers at that time which means they shut off without our say so they wouldn't be able to sell you anything anyways.

It is for safety concerns. As an employee at another grocery store chain i assume the policies closely match up.

In my chain we close at 11 and thats firm whether we have customers or not for three reasons. 1, the cash registers have to be counted and submitted by a certain time or it will not be processed and that is a big hassle and no no and if bank trucks come next day the bank gets involved. 2. Many things csnt be started until all customers are out and it causes overtime as well as most employees have to leave at closing so if they staybsome miss buses others are late to other jobs etc.

3 and this most important one is it is a safetu concern for all employees.

At night time when employee staffing and customer count is low there is a higher chsnce of being robbed with force(happens more ths. You think) so for peoples safety usually 10 minutes prior to closing doors are closed and opened manually if needed

then shut by managers.

What don't you understand? The store closed at 10:00. Your medical doctor should have given you a prescription to tie you over until you were able to purchase what you were looking for DURING STORE HOURS!!

Forgive my typos. I'm writing this an hour after returning from sprouts and can not move my neck so it is difficult to correct grammar.

What kind of health food store refuses a customer going there for medication, because the store technically closed at 10, and it was 10:01? Furthermore, a manager who lies about the time (stating it was later) and still had customers inside the store, would not allow someone coming from the hospital entry for a pain supplement?

Late to the convo BUT it really doesn't matter that you were in an accident. Everyone has a reason they're shopping at closing time.

Everyone thinks their reason is important. We can not just let everybody in. We too have families to get home to, and responsibilities to take care of. Come earlier.

Don't inconvenience us. I Agree with the previous comment that your doctor should have hooked you up better if it was already so late and nothing would be open.

Your grievance with Sprouts is invalid. This is not how retail works, we can't make exceptions for everybody.
